Today I have been taking an artistic look at tumble dryer fluff. A woman from Nottingham collects the ‘snapshots of modern living’ (i.e. the fluff from the tumble dryer filter) encapsulates them in cling film and then displays several dozen at a time in galleries around the East Midlands. Sadly when I helped her make some, mine looked more like something a cat might have scraped over in the garden.
