Today for BBC East Midlands I was dispatched to meet ‘Andrex’ the three week old piglet who was found in the back of a lorry. Funny thing was, it wasn’t a lorry full of piggies, but toilet rolls. The RSPCA believe it was a prank that went wrong. Andrex is a bit battered and bruised, but generally ok. And the good news is that now only a good home will suffice. So sausages are off the menu.
