Today for BBC East Midlands Today I had the pleasure of meeting cookery legend Marguerite Patten OBE. Now if that name doesn’t ring a bell its because perhaps you didn’t have your head in a cookery book during the second world war. She was the first celebrity chef and now 91 she is still on tour talking about the benefits of home cooked food. Talking of which, I must go home for my tea.
