BBC Tuesday
6th November 2007
The last few Tuesdays have been a bit quiet of late (a lot of training going on – all very hush hush). But today I was back in the saddle with an (almost) record breaking litter of dalmatians. What was truly amazing about this brood of fifteen pooches from near Melton Mowbray was not their undeniable cuteness or the fact that their owner only gets two hours sleep because of all the looking after they need or the fact their grandad was in 102 Dalmations (the sequel) but the fact that I couldn’t start filming until 2pm and had the whole thing edited and on air (an hour away mark you) by 6.45. I’m just giving myself a pat on the back…
(There’s no official record for dalmatian pups, but ‘Maisy’ in Middlesborough did have nineteen last year).
