At last. East Midlands Today have finally let me do a story about large root vegetables. Joe had a spectacular weekend – he not only came first seven times at the UK National Giant Vegetable competition, but he also earned two world records (one for longest carrot, the other for heaviest parsnip). He very kindly showed me his carrot.
