Crufts Champion

For today’s BBC East Midlands Today assignment I went to congratulate an Inuit Dog called Deefor who has just become a champion at Crufts. Now I know what you’re thinking… an Inuit is a cross (between a German Shepard, a Husky and a Malamute) and Crufts doesn’t like cross-breeds. Well it does now, as this year it held its first Canine Cross Country event (Cani-X) and all dogs are welcome. Deefor is from Leicester and won the women’s section (on account of the woman he dragged along the 2.5 km route in record time).
