Pom-poms and short skirts are not the ideal garb for a cold winter morning. Thankfully I opted for a coat and a stout pair of gloves to film the Nottingham Wildcat Cheerleaders. They were performing bright and early at an event in Wollaton Park and its was an ideal opportunity to catch up with them for BBC East Midlands Today. Anyone wanting to join the troupe and hopefully be part of Nottingham’s first entry in the National Championships is more than welcome.
