NIACE award ceremony

20th May 2008

I’ve travelled 2,900 miles, filmed 27 winners and edited 19 films which have all played without a hitch at their 17th Annual National Awards ceremony. To top it all the Chair of the NIACE company Board told me they are the best films they’ve ever had. What made the whole thing particularly special for me was that Fiona Phillips from GMTV was due to host the ceremony had had to pull out at the last minute. I was asked to step in, dutifully accepted and had a fantastic day interviewing all the inspiring winners who I’d met over the past 6 weeks.

These films can be viewed on the NIACE website and below:

Paul Lee, Roy Steggles and Clare Harris, Joul and Bloomer families, Marie Harvey, Claire Wright, John Litherland and Paul McNeil, Reache Northwest, Kelly Bath, Martin Vince and Judith Richardson, Bob Lawrence, Charlene Leigh-Smith and Vicky Nelson, Sharon Brennan, YMCA Fitness, Milton Wacha, John McAnuff, City Clean, East Midlands Reading Group, Empowering Adults Who Stammer, Osmondthorpe Resource Centre, Alive and Kicking, Bilingual Teaching Assistants, Sight Service.
